Social Studies Tutoring

“We are not makers of history. We are made by history.”

Martin Luther King, Jr.

With the advent of the internet, the world is becoming an increasingly smaller place. From behind a computer screen we can be transported from the cathedrals of medieval Europe to the African savannah in milliseconds. For this reason, it is not only important, but essential for students to be aware of the vast history and social practices from around the world. A strong foundation in social studies integrates students into the network of humanity and will make them informed citizens of the world.

Beginning in kindergarten, social studies classes nurture the skills students need to learn in the history courses they will take later on in their academic careers in high school and college. Each year is unique and students learn about a variety of topics.

Our expert tutors at TutorNerd possess both extensive experience in studying the History and the Social Sciences helping students improve their knowledge of history. Tutors assess a student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then recommend a comprehensive learning plan.

Here at TutorNerd , we guarantee a pleasant and exciting teaching experience from the first session. We strive to provide students with the skills to read and study history effectively, even beyond the scope of their social studies courses.
